Troubleshooting

No. A flashing Red light during charging indicates an abnormal state. The user should unplug the USB and try again while checking the adapter, cable, and socket as mentioned above.

Yes, you can swap a tracker from another pack when necessary. But, there is a technical step involved. 

Every retail set comes with the L and R trackers pre-programmed and paired with each other. If you take a replacement tracker from a different pack, they will not recognize each other initially. You will need to manually re-pair them using the "Engineer Mode" in our app.

Flashing Blue (or flashing Red if the battery is low) is completely normal when the device is powered on.

  • Single Flash: The device is in Recording Mode. This happens automatically after the user turns it on and walks/moves about 30-40 steps.
  • Double Flash: The device is in Standby Mode (powered on but not currently recording data).

When charging correctly, the LED should change fromsolid Red tosolid Green. If it never turns green, please check the following:

  • Adapter: Ensure they are using a functioning standard 5V 1A adapter. A faulty or non-compliant adapter is the most common cause.
  • Power Socket: We have seen rare cases where the user's wall socket was the issue; trying a different outlet is advised.
  • USB Cable: Though rare, the cable could be defective. Ask them to try a different, known-working USB cable.
  • LED Fault: Extremely rare but may occur. To check if the LED itself is working, go to Me My Smart Shin Guards, select Unpair, then Pair again. During "Step 2" of the pairing process, the tracker should cycle between Red, Green, and Blue.
  • Firmware Bug: We are aware of a rare firmware bug where the battery is actually 100% full, but the light fails to switch to Green. We are working on a fix which will be pushed via a Firmware Update in the App soon.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
  2. Check that your trackers are fully charged and powered on.
  3. Attempt to sync your trackers again.

  3. Go to Me → My Smart Shin Guards → Unpair, then follow the on-screen instructions.

Unfortunately, the app does not support tracker location tracking.

Please check the following:

  1. Check your Inbox and Spam folders immediately after registration.
  2. If using Gmail, check your Promotions and Spam folders.
  3. If using a work email, your company’s IT policies may block the email.
  4. If you requested multiple verification links, use the most recent one.

The tracking modules measure over 500,000 metrics in a 90-minute game. The algorithm uses advanced machine-learning processes to ensure accuracy.

Even without GPS or other positioning technology, accuracy can reach as high as 85–90%, or even higher for certain metrics.

We continually improve our algorithm to deliver more accurate and reliable information, and these updates can be easily applied through software updates.

The left and right player tracking modules are paired before shipping and programmed as “Left” and “Right.”

As long as you wear the shin guards correctly, they’ll automatically detect which leg they’re on.

Our advanced algorithm analyses motion sensor data to identify unique movement patterns, allowing it to distinguish between actions such as jumping, running, and turning.

We recommend syncing your data at the earliest available opportunity after your session.

Currently, this feature is not available, but we are actively developing updates to enhance your experience.

Yes. Teams can manage player profiles through a Bespoke Club Portal Area.

Players can join their club using an invitation code and upload session reports via the Event function in the app. If you’re a club owner or coach, please contact Football Flick for more information. You can add players to a team too, watch the set-up video here.

The Smart Shin Guards have been specifically designed for football (soccer) players at all levels.

The modules are IP65 rated, meaning they are water-resistant but not waterproof.

Do not submerge them in water or put them in a washing machine.

No, they do not use GPS or LPS for positioning. There’s no need for additional setup, such as a workstation or wearable vest. Unlike GPS devices, smartwatches, or foot trackers, these shin guards are comfortable, safe, and unobtrusive.

No. Simply turn on the tracking modules, insert them into your shin guards, and wear them as normal.

They offer full protection while measuring performance — without any discomfort or feeling of foreign objects.

No. The tracking modules have built-in storage for up to 2 hours of session data. You can sync your performance data after the game.

We recommend entering your correct height and date of birth, as age influences the performance standards used for your ratings.

Your session is measured using 16 performance metrics, grouped into five core elements of the game:

  • Speed
  • Explosive Power
  • Stamina
  • Power
  • Balance

Each element is scored based on key attributes and pre-set standards, producing an overall score averaged across all five areas. There are two rating standards: Under 16 and 16 & over.

Yes. Because they don’t rely on GPS or external signals, they work perfectly for indoor sessions.
